Mozart’s lively “Paris” Symphony sparkles with youthful charm, while Mendelssohn’s sunny “Italian” Symphony dances with the warmth and spirit of the Mediterranean. Adding our signature modern twist, Moppa Elliott’s Symphony in C brings fresh energy and imagination to the evening. Fools Fall In Love

Join The Rendez-Vous Orchestra for Fools Fall in Love - a program apropos of all matters of the heart and soul.

Violin soloists Chloe Seunghyen Kim and Urara Mogi join the orchestra for Bach's vibrant Concerto for Two Violins, a spirited contrapuntal conversation full of tension and drama. Director Brian Shaheen's songs bring the audience on a journey of falling in (and out) of love. Of course it wouldn't be an RVO show without a surprise or two (kazoos, anyone?). We can't wait to see you there!

Urara Mogi has performed widely throughout the United States, Canada, and her native Japan. Hailed for her “rich sound” and “kaleidoscopic range of expression” (Music World Magazine [Japan]), Urara has been the recipient of numerous awards in solo and chamber music, with her many recitals having been consistently presented to critical acclaim. She currently serves as principal violin for the Manhattan Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, makes annual appearances as principal violin at the Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival, and has served as concertmaster for a number of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania orchestras, including the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra, Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra, and Princeton Pro Musica. Urara serves as Artistic Director of Colza Concerts, a Japan-based chamber ensemble and concert series that introduces young gifted performers and seldom-heard chamber music to the public.
